Do you remember the old school travel shows with Rick Steve, Samantha Brown, Anthony Bourdain? Or you maybe following a bunch of self promoted travel influencers on social media? Ever thought of what Leslie Nielsen would be like in these roles?
Well let's see what ingredients we need... Take a foreigner who looks like one, acts like one and definitely speaks like one. Make him lovable, eccentric and add a dash of moron,then drop him into the melting pot that is the United States, with nothing more then his Witless instincts and the will to travel. And, what comes out is a comedy souffle served directly into your homes 30 minutes at a time.
MEET LUCA
Luca, an enigmatic Swiss-Italian guy of undisclosed age, is a constant sight in his lederhosen adorned with suspenders, along with a traditional checkered shirt. He tops off his attire with a hunter's hat, a size too snug, that he seemingly never removes.
His English is rather fragmented, enriched with a robust Italian accent, and he frequently employs vivid hand gestures in quintessential Italian fashion.
Mannered as any typical Swiss individual would be, Luca also exudes an Italian's relaxed and easygoing disposition. Observers, however, often grapple with the enigma of his intellect, unsure of whether he possesses a unique perspective or if something else is at play.
In essence, Luca embodies the spirit of a four-year-old in the body of an adult.
